This was one of those \u201cWhy didn\u2019t I do that much sooner?!\u201d installations. It was easy, impactful, and inexpensive. My favorite. Especially when exposed to weather, the mirror can become stained or discolored over time. Not that any of you have left your top down inadvertently or anything\u2026 <\/p>\n

This installation was completed on a 2012 JK Wrangler using this highly-rated replacement mirror<\/span><\/a>. While the procedure and images below reflect a JK Wrangler, this manual mirror is listed as compatible with CJs, YJs, TJs, and JLs as well. The mirror itself is very similar in size to the Original Equipment, fits well, and saves tons of money over a direct factory replacement.<\/p>\n

The following instructions assume you are reusing the factory mirror button glued to the windshield. If the original button is still well attached, this process can be completed in less than five minutes.<\/p>\n
